I will say that I do enjoy staying here when in London; but, I must also say that the casting leaves something to be desired - from a diversity / inclusion point of view.
Many people are fed up with fake inclusion/diversity. Why should there be a mix. The hotel is in the uk and the vast majority of people are white.

This is the finest suite that I have seen. Very nicely decorated.
It's early 2022 now and I've just watched an episode of Life Beyond The Lobby about this hotel. One of the presenters, Giles Coren, was wondering why people would stay here for months instead of simply buying a house in London. I thought: 'Giles mate, this place got bought by the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority in 2015. The people who stay here for months, they didn't need to buy a house, they bought a hotel instead.'
For all the undoubted luxury, I can't help but reflect on the fact the The Lanesborough has spent the majority of its life as St George's Hospital. Just imagine the number of people who have died in those rooms...
That’s a macabre take on an otherwise beautiful place.
As far as I can gather, membership of this Spa is £6,000 per annum. Is it worth it, I have absolutely no idea, presumably it all depends on the quality of the actual treatments. And, if you're the kind of person who can actually afford to stay here, that price level cocoons you rather than troubles you.
Those interiors, it's like spending time at my Gran's, God no!
